You can create a new archive by selecting the New Archive item of the drop down menu or by using the speedbutton New.

Then you have to choose a name for the archive, but it should not not be too long. This dialog is a standard windows open dialog, you can choose the drive and the folder, or if you need another, create folder and then you can create the new archive you want it to be. If you choose a name of an existing archive, FilZip will ask you if you want to overwrite it.
